New demonstration applications will be presented at the fair, including battery assembly for the automotive industry.
The Yamaha Robotics Factory Automation section will demonstrate new robots and applications at Automatica 2023 in Munich from 27-30 June, highlighting flexibility, productivity and quality in automotive battery production and a variety of industrial processes.
Szczególny nacisk na roboty SCARA zostanie położony na model YK1200X, który został zaprojektowany z myślą o wysokiej precyzji. Robot posiada zasięg ramienia o długości do 1200 mm i udźwig do 50 kg. Odwiedzający będą mogli zobaczyć robota YK1200X w akcji, obsługującego ogniwa pryzmatyczne do pojazdów elektrycznych w aplikacji opracowanej wspólnie z integratorem systemów JP Industrieanlagen. “Nasza demonstracja pokazuje, w jaki sposób producenci akumulatorów mogą zwiększyć wydajność, jakość produkcji i opłacalność” – skomentował Jumpei Ninomiya, kierownik sprzedaży w dziale FA firmy Yamaha w Europie. “To nowoczesne rozwiązanie spełnia krytyczne wymagania rynku, podczas gdy zbliżają się terminy wprowadzenia przełomowych przepisów dotyczących produkcji samochodów”.

Two demonstration applications using LCMR200 linear modules will show how production lines can move parts simultaneously in the x, y , z, forward and reverse axes, with electronically programmable speed, acceleration and stop positions. Owners can use this extremely flexible transport to overcome space limitations, increase factory flexibility and quickly scale and adapt production.

In addition, Yamaha will be showcasing its latest cobot. Visitors will also be able to see the latest RCX-Studio graphics software for programming single- and multi-robot systems.
Looking forward to the event, Jumpei Ninomiya added: “This year we are introducing new and engaging demonstrations at Automatica. These demonstrate how we can increase speed, efficiency and flexibility across a range of industries including automotive, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, electronic assembly, general manufacturing, packaging and logistics.” Yamaha Robotics is located in Hall B5, Stand 314, Automatica 2023, Messe München, 27-30 June.

Information about the Yamaha FA section
Yamaha Factory Automation Section (FA Section), a subdivision of the Yamaha Motor Robotics Business Unit at Yamaha Motor Corporation, focuses on providing flexible, precision industrial robots for automation challenges. With its roots in the introduction of robotic technology into the assembly of Yamaha motorbikes, the section has more than 40 years of experience in solving automation challenges.
Yamaha industrial robots are now trusted by leading corporations around the world, in operations as diverse as semiconductor manufacturing and assembly of electronic products, home appliances, automotive components and large liquid crystal panels. Yamaha Motor FA Section offers a unified range of robotic assembly solutions, including single-axis, SCARA, Cartesian and articulated robots. Innovations such as the LCMR200 linear conveyor module; a smoother, space-saving and more versatile successor to conventional belt and roller conveyors, continue to set the pace for factory automation. Core robotic technology, as well as key components and complete robot systems, are manufactured in-house, ensuring consistent quality and control over lead times.
